Living Room Forts
This morning after playing outside for awhile, the boys and I came in and built a couple forts in the living room. One is an extremely basic drape sheets over the train table and call it a fort. The other one was given to us by a neighbor with older kids, and it is a magnetic fort...kind of hard to explain...basically there are foam poles with magnetic ends that stick to this directional balls and bases to form a maze like fort with some clips to attach colored sheets as walls or pass-throughs. The boys had a blast making and destroying the magnetic fort a few times. We also read some stories together under the train table fort. A rewarding bit of time with my two older boys (David was napping during most of this fun).
