James' Birthday Party

James had his birthday party this weekend.  It was a lot of fun!  We went to a bounce house, and it was so relaxing not to have to stress about every little detail...that job belonged to someone else.  I enjoyed just coming, dropping off the cake and favors and then sitting back, playing a little, taking a lot of pictures and visiting a bit with our guests.  It was also nice to have some of James' friends at his birthday party.  If the party had been at our home, it would have been a lot harder to host everyone.

Overall I think the party was a big success!  My husband and I really liked the stress-free feeling of having a venue take care of the planning. 

 

Here is the final Jeep cake for James' birthday.  He loved the cake as well as his modified Power Wheels Jeep he was given.  This is the Jeep my husband has worked so hard on, and it has delighted our son beyond measure.  There are still some small things that need to be done to finish it up, but the Jeep is running, and James can drive it.  Once we add the seat belts, Sam will be able to join him as well.
