Sam's Wagon

One of the gifts Sam received for his first birthday was a Little Tikes wagon.  It is a red wagon with a door that can open for easy climbing in and out.  It took my husband and I a couple days before we made time to put it together, and now it seems to be the new favorite outdoor item at our house.

Yesterday was our first day taking the wagon for a spin around the neighborhood.  James had a blast pulling his little brother along, and Sam sat there bouncing in his seat and making all sorts of cute, excited noises.  Then this morning we took the wagon to the zoo with us, and once again James loved pulling Sam in the wagon.  There was a small period of time where both boys rode together, but mostly James wanted to be responsible for pulling Sam along.

This afternoon after naps we decided to go outside to play.  James decided he wanted to ride his bike, so I put his helmet on and we headed out front.  Once we were on the front porch area, James changed his mind and decided he would much rather pull the wagon than ride his bike.  He pulled Sam to the park, we played, and James pulled Sam all the way back again.

Whoever thought to make wagons for children had a wonderful idea!  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for the great gift!
